1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Brytli ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Brytli is a habit-tracking app that lets you create daily tasks and goals, track streaks and progress, and pair with an accountability partner who can see relevant progress information to help keep you both on track.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
4. Account Registration and Security
To use Brytli you must create an account using your name, email address, and a password. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information when creating your account
- Keeping your login credentials confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
5. User Content
"User Content" means any tasks, goals, notes, or other information you enter into the App. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it as necessary to operate the App, including sharing relevant content with your accountability partner as described in Section 6.
You agree not to submit User Content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others.
6. Accountability Partner Feature
Brytli allows you to pair with another user as an accountability partner. When paired, certain task and progress information you create may be visible to your partner, and vice versa. You are responsible for choosing who you pair with and understanding that this information will be shared. Do not include sensitive personal information in tasks or goals that you would not want your partner to see.
7. Notifications
By using the App, you consent to receive push and local notifications related to your tasks, streaks, and partner activity. You may disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, graphics, logos, and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time by contacting us using the information in Section 14.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Brytli is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, fitness, or otherwise) related to any goals you track.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or disputes with an accountability partner.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
